HR Forms

"“When hiring key employees, there are only two qualities to look for: judgement and taste. Almost everything else can be bought by the yard.”

- John W. Gardner

Hello! And welcome to first section of this course: Human Resources.

HR is undoubtedly the most important part of your business and frequently not given the time and attention it deserves. Believe me. Invest the effort into finding the right people and giving them the tools and training they deserve. It will make life easier on your and significantly boost your bottom line.

Below are the forms you need onboard new employees. Feel free to download them and use them. Just change the company name, etc. For your convenience, I've included both Word and PDF versions.

Btw, when having employees sign docs, you can do it in person - of course. Or you can use a service like DocuSign or Adobe Sign for digital signatures. Quick, easy and professional.

Note: Since most states want you to classify your workers as employees and not contractors, I attached below only the W4 form for the IRS.

Lastly, I included both a PowerPoint and PDF version of the orientation presentation we give new hires. This part of the new hire cycle is very important because you must set expectations, explain how you want things done, and answer any preliminary questions the new employees may have.
